Abstract NanostructuredTransition metal based-graphene hybrid electrocatalysts are fabricated by aone-step vacuum kinetic spray technique at room temperature from microparticlesof transition metal-based materials (Ni(OH)2,and Co3O4) andgraphite powders. The modified electrodes with nanostructure composites wereutilized for overall water splitting applications in the alkaline medium. Thefabricated electrodes revealed good synergy between the graphene species andthe electroactive sites from the transition metal constituents.
